[DMANET] Position in Operations Research / Combinatorial Optimization

We would like to advertise a permanent position in
Operations Research / Combinatorial Optimization in the
Laboratoire G-SCOP (http://www.g-scop.inpg.fr/) in Grenoble,
France.

Applicants should have a decent level in French (but need not yet be
fluent), and either be "qualified" or have an equivalent
position (associate/assistant professor, reader, lecturer, ...)
abroad.

The deadline for application is March 25, 2010</b>. The application
must be done online on GALAXIE (https://www.galaxie.enseignementsup-recherche.gouv.fr/ensup/candidats.html)
GALAXIE, together with a paper submission sent directly to the
University.

The scheme of this 'Chaire' position is fairly recent. It is
equivalent to an associate professor position (Maitre de Conferences) but
with only 1/3 of teaching (64 hours annually) during five years
(renewable once) and a research grant. After these five (or ten) years,
the researcher becomes a regular Maitre de Conferences with 192 hours of
teaching every year (but is expected to have applied for - and obtained -
a full professor position in between).

Full details on the position (in French) can be found here (https://www.galaxie.enseignementsup-recherche.gouv.fr/ensup/ListesPostesPublies/ANTEE/2010_1/0381838S/FOPC_0381838S_1163.pdf)
- if you have questions you can contact
