[DMANET] PhD projects in Operations Research

*** PHD PROJECTS IN OPERATIONS RESEARCH ***

At the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam there are currently 2 PhD-projects in Operations Research in a set of 15 projects in Business Administration
and OR. The OR PhD-projects are:

*** Models and algorithms for disaster management ***

*** Polytopes and approximation algorithms ***

An extensive description of the two projects is available for students who are interested to apply. From the 15 proposals only 2 will be selected to start this year. This selection is based on the quality of the students who apply. Therefore we will be glad to receive applications on our projects by excellent students.

The deadline for application is March 15, 2011 !
