The 1st International Symposium & 10th Balkan Conference on Operational
Research will be held at the University of Macedonia, Economic and Social
Sciences in Thessaloniki, Greece, September 22-25, 2011. The conference will
be co-organized by the Macedonia - Thrace Branch of Hellenic Operational
Research Society and the University of Macedonia.


Scope:

BALCOR is an international conference which traditionally gathers
operational researchers with objective to present both theoretical and
applied results. The main benefits are the successful exchange of ideas and
information of interest to operational research and the promotion of
international co-operation, especially among the Balkan countries.
Furthermore, distinguished invited keynote speakers will participate at the
conference.
