The Department of Mathematics at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya,
Barcelona, opens a PhD position within the research project

Discrete geometric and random structures

funded by the National Programme for the Promotion of Talent and Its
Employability of the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitivity.

The position is for a maximum of 4 years with an annual brut salary of
16422E. The topics of research include

-Random graphs
-Additive combinatorics
-Combinatorial geometry
-Polynomial method in combinatorics
-Matroids
-Simplicial Complexes
