[DMANET] Fellowship Opportunities

Dear Researchers,

The Natural Computation Group at the University of Birmingham (UK) would be
very pleased to host and support strong applications for EU's Marie
Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships (IF). If you are interested in
pursuing full-time research in a world-leading research group, with strong
expertise in
evolutionary computation (and nature inspired computation in general),
artificial life, and machine learning, please get in touch with me (
j.knowles.1@cs.bham.ac.uk <x.yao@cs.bham.ac.uk>).

More information about the fellowships can be found from:

Here is some basic background about the fellowships:

*The deadline for applications in 10th September 2015*

"Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships (IF) aim at enhancing the
creative and innovative potential of Experienced Researchers who wish to
diversify their individual competence in terms of skill acquisition through
advanced training, international and intersectoral mobility. Individual
Fellowships thus provide opportunities to acquire and transfer new
knowledge
and to work on research in a European context (EU Member States and
Associated
Countries) or outside Europe. This scheme particularly supports the return
and
reintegration of researchers from outside Europe who have previously worked
here. It also develops or helps to restart the careers of individual
researchers that show great potential, considering their experience.

Support is foreseen for individual, trans-national fellowships awarded to
the
best or most promising researchers for employment in EU Member States or
Associated Countries, based on an application made jointly by the
researcher
and host organisation in the academic or non-academic sectors1.
This action provides financial support for individual Experienced
Researchers
of any age who wish to work in host organisations established in EU Member
States (MS) or Associated Countries (AC)."
