[DMANET] EURO 2018: Call for session on Evaluation as a Service for Optimization and Data Science

Call for papers - special session on:

 * Evaluation as a Service for Optimization and Data Science *

as part of the 29th European Conference on Operational Research (EURO 2018)
organized in Valencia, Spain, 8-11 July 2018

Abstract submission deadline: 5th March
To submit the abstract visit: https://www.euro-online.org/conf/euro29
and use the code: 7c91c0b2
or ask for the invitation from: szymon.wasik@cs.put.poznan.pl

The aim of the session is to discuss state-of-the-art scientific problems
and their solutions applied in development or application of online
platforms supporting evaluation of programs and algorithms, including:
 * systems supporting organization of programming competitions, e.g., data
science, optimization or team programming competitions,
 * online judge systems implementing evaluation as a service architecture,
 * cloud-driven development environments,
 * cloud-based evaluation,
 * systems providing fully-automated evaluation of programming assignments
and archiving evaluation data,
 * security aspects of reliable execution of source codes submitted by
users in the cloud,
 * applications of online evaluation for both, science and teaching
purposes,
 * practical experiences in secure sharing of evaluation data in the
Internet,
 * applications of crowdsourcing concept in optimization of algorithms
solving complex scientific- and industry-originated problems,
 * privacy issues in online evaluation,
 * gamification elements strengthening crowdsourcing-based problem solving.
